A couple pairs of feet I finished up earlier today :)

They are my “use your own shoe” style. The cream and brown feet are for a rabbit, and have rubber “parade soles” for outdoor use. The black ones have a furred sole, with custom cast latex pawpads.

Yep! Depending on the size and shape of the stripes, it could add a lot to the price, however.

So I marathoned six pairs of feet this week (the seventh was done earlier, it’s the one with the yellowed foam)- I used two huge handfuls of glue sticks, killed my hot glue gun*, used up four chair pads’s worth of foam, and spent three work days getting everything sewn, cut out, glued, and shaped.

But now I don’t have to make any more for a little while. :D

I have two sizes, a large size and a small size.
The large size are going to open and close in back with velcro. The idea is that you can slip a pair of walking shoes inside and remove them when you’re done. They’re a good size for fullsuits, and because you use your own shoes, they can be pretty comfy!

The small size is great for partial suits or any costume where you want a daintier looking foot. You slip your foot in, no shoes, it’s kind of like wearing slippers!

I have two pairs of the small-size feet and one pair of the large size feet available for “adoption”- a furred, finished pair is $200. Claws add $50 to the price, pawpads add $50 (your choice of latex or flat fabric).

*Long boring story about the glue gun… I noticed it was time to replace it a while ago, there’s all this blackened area around the nozzle and it’s been with me for quite a while (probably longer than was intended by the manufacturer). I’ve been reading horror stories about craft glue guns exploding, so I decided to replace it. Bought a new one that looked really good and… it doesn’t work. :P Squeezed out a couple of drops of glue and that was it, I tried everything with that P.O.S.
Now I just want to stop playing around with craft hot glue guns and move up to industrial, but the reason I haven’t all this time is that I bought this 25 lb box of hot glue sticks years ago and they won’t fit an industrial gun. Don’t wanna waste glue!

Well, finally, the box is finally almost empty but I think my glue gun’s really had it this time… glue is starting to seep out of where the trigger mechanism is. x_x Poor glue gun! We almost made it through the box of glue sticks! Oh well. Tis time to retire it! RIP my faithful glue gun.

A commission of a two foot tall Fluttershy plush in a slightly different style than the show. Made from buttery soft seal fur, pink sparkle fur, and faux suede for the hooves. Dog collar is storebought and modified by me.

I think the thing I like most about it are the wings! So cute and tiny.
I wanna do more MLP plush this year, maybe some in my spare time to sell.

Those new eyes on the gray fox look soooo much better! Though I know gray foxes do have quite cat like eyes, they kind of made the face look a little scary XD I love all the colour and detail on that head though, it looks wonderful!

I loved the gorgeous coloration of these animals and wanted to recreate those colors in my work. It was made to sell, so it’s only been worn for photos. Costume includes a head, full arm gloves, and a tail.

The gray fox didn’t sell like I had hoped, so I’ll be adjusting a couple things with the head that were troublesome, maybe make a pair of feet, and try auctioning it off again.

I made this foxie as an experiment over the span of a few months in my “off time”. A slight departure from my usual style, it has hand-painted glass eyes and some really gorgeous realistic furs. I was inspired by photos of real gray foxes, they have so many wonderful colors and textures of fur over their faces and bodies!
