Foaming photos of Klondike Dog’s head. Ready to dip the nose and make a fur pattern!

Foaming photos of Klondike Dog’s head. Ready to dip the nose and make a fur pattern!

Put the finishing touches on this guy today. :D

It is a commission for Brock Badger! This lightweight foam head is made with three kinds of beautiful teddy fur, with great vision through the eyes and ventilation out of the mouth. Everything on this head was handmade from scratch, I do not use any sort of molds on head parts because I want everything to be unique and customized for the character. :)

The head is directly based off my concept art I drew: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9098978/
I am pretty pleased with how close a match it is! I want every head to be better than the last, and I want each to match the concept art as closely as possible.

We’ll be finishing the arms for this cutie soon.

Also, here are some closeups of various parts of the head for Brock.
The ears have fully finished seams, the insides are this nice charcoal grey faux-suede. The nose is plastidip, which means it’s not only glossy, but fairly squishy and resilient, too! It’s also lightweight, which is definitely a huge plus.
The eyes I covered in my tutorial I posted yesterday, just took another closeup of them cuz they’re purdy. :3
And finally, the inside of the head and neck are fully lined, no raw foam against your skin!

Sooooo close I can almost taste it! Brock’s badger will be finished tomorrow. Really happy with how this project is coming along!

A fursuit of my fursona in time for MFF. :)She sports digitigrade legs, large feet, and a dropped crotch for a more feral look. She is made with beautiful realistic wolf furs, and has a sunny and cheerful expression.Because my heads are looser fitting than most, not much of the mask is in contact with my face, which meant the inside of the stayed pretty dry the whole con. The feet sport thick latex pawpads that proved to be nice and durable over the course of the weekend. I think it is really important to build things for yourself once in a while as a fursuit builder to not only stress-test your methods extensively, but also to have a way to showcase your work at cons. :) I see a few areas I’ll be tweaking on this now I see the photos, but overall I really couldn’t be happier. It’s been quite a little while since I’ve had a fursona suit!! Thanks for all the compliments and hugs at the con.If you have any photos of miss Growly, I’d love to see them! Gratzi!

Earlier this year, I documented the construction of this opossum head for Syber in lots of photos :D Was fun to share progress this way, a lot of people got a kick out of it! So I am uploading this here too. The opossum is one of my favorite things I’ve ever made, but I can already see how I’ve improved since then. :D Always getting better and trying new things, that’s the name of the game!

Some nice outdoor shots of the recently completed partial suit for Arlesey. Sable is a red wolf/aardwolf mix, see the concept art here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8555599/

Head is my usual foam on a headliner hood style, with really good front vision and ventilation out of the mouth. The shiny nose style is new, it’s foam dipped in rubber, so it’s pretty durable and cute :D Hand-sculpted teeth, sewn in cheek spots, fur bangs, and two earrings in each ear are some of the special features of this gal.

The arms are hand-sewn and sport rubber claws and pawpads. Another fun thing is the sleeves are supported by two bands of elastic that run under your shirt, across your back. Pretty comfy, and the fur doesn’t look bunched up or fall down or anything like that. Love it!

Footpaws are “use your own shoe” for maximum comfort and ease of wear. The cute claws are vinyl, and won’t break or chip like clay does.

Tail is a simple stuffed tail, with two sturdy webbing beltloops to keep it on your belt.

I’m pretty pleased with this partial! She is pretty.

I have to say, I’m pretty pleased with the outcome! Photos of the whole partial suit forthcoming. ^_^

Oh, apparently I forgot to upload this here!

Some WIP footpaws for Sable’s partial. I made four paws trying to figure out the look I wanted. These are nice and slim lookin’, fits the character’s look, I think.
